A scene from The Incredible Shrinking Woman (Joel Schumacher, 1981). Plans to make The Incredible Shrinking Woman with Scott Carey’s wife as the protagonist were made after the success of The Incredible Shrinking Man but never fully developed into a film. Instead sequel/quasi-remake, starring Lily Tomlin, came out in the early 80s. Some yonic imagery comes through in the film, but it is more a feminist critique on consumerism and capitalist exploitation. Here the garbage disposal serves as a yonic threat.
